Today I wanted to share a new way to try meal planning – a whole one month meal plan.
That’s what I’m trying this month, and I wanted to share this with you. If meal planning sounds like another task to do each week, try doing a whole month at once and then you won’t have to think about it again for a few weeks.
This is a great way to save money as well, since you know what you’ll be making and can shop ahead when you see great deals and buy things in bulk for multiple meals.
One Month Meal Plan: 30 Dinner Ideas
I’m giving Butcher Box a try, so I made our meal plan around the package of meat I got.
I’m just using the month page in my planner to plan these meals out. You could do the same or print our a month calendar and write them all down to stick on your fridge.
Here’s my September meal plan:
- Burgers, tots, mac & cheese
- BBQ sandwiches, green beans
- Roast with potatoes and carrots (slow cooker), corn muffins
- Lasagna (frozen), salad kit, breadsticks
- Flatbread pizzas, salad kit
- Beef tacos, rice, chips & salsa
- Italian grilled chicken, corn, fried okra, rolls
- BBQ loaded potatoes, salad kit
- Roast with potatoes and carrots (slow cooker), corn muffins
- Burgers, fries, salad kit
- Sirloin steak, baked potato, green beans, rolls
- Chicken Alfredo, salad kit, garlic bread
- Chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, green beans
- Spaghetti and meatballs, salad kit, breadsticks
- Ranch chicken, fried potatoes, peas, rolls
- BBQ sandwiches, mac and cheese
- Tacos, rice, chips and queso
- Lasagna (frozen), salad kit, breadsticks

- Chicken parmesan pasta, salad, garlic bread
- Chicken tenders, corn, green beans, rolls
- Burgers, tots, green beans

So, there’s our meal plan for the whole month of September. I’m sure a few things will change, but at least it gives me a plan to work off of.
This feels great to have the whole month planned for dinner, so I know what to stock up on and I can make bigger batches of some things to freezer for an easier meal later on.
Give monthly meal planning a try and see how you like it!
