Brown about 4.5 lbs of the ground beef in a large skillet.
You may need 2 skillets if you don’t have one large enough.
Start your spaghetti sauce
Add the 3 large cans of tomato sauce and 2 cans of diced tomatoes with basil, garlic, and oregano to a large pot on medium low heat.
Add spices to taste: garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, basil leaves, dried oregano, and salt. I just sprinkle a little of each to make this quick – around 1-2 tsp each.
Start your chili.
Add the beans and fire roasted diced tomatoes to a large pot on medium low heat.
Add spices to taste: ground cumin, paprika, black pepper, salt, chili powder, garlic powder, and onion powder. Again, I just sprinkle a little of each – around 1-2 tsp each.
Pat out burgers and sliders.
While the ground beef is browning and the spaghetti sauce and chili are simmering, you can start patting out your burgers and sliders.
Use the remaining ground beef to make as many burgers and sliders as you can.
I use Lawry’s seasoning salt and McCormick’s Montreal Steak seasoning together. Or, for a different taste, sprinkle some dry onion soup mix with Lawry’s seasoning salt.
Place the burger and slider patties in freezer bags with freezer paper between each patty.
Add beef to spaghetti sauce and chili.
When the beef is browned, drain the grease and add about 1.5-2 lbs to the spaghetti sauce and stir well. Let that continue to simmer.
Add 1 lb of ground beef to the chili, stir, and let simmer.
Leave the remaining ground beef (1.5-2 lbs) in the skillet. Mix the taco seasoning packets with water as instructed on the package.
Add the taco seasoning to the beef, stir, and let simmer.
Divide beef freezer meals into freezer containers.
Once everything has simmered for a bit, divide the meals into freezer containers and let cool before placing the lids on and sticking in the freezer.
