Getting ready to make some Easter baskets for your kiddos? Make sure to head to Dollar Tree to see what all you can find! Below, I’m sharing some cute and frugal Dollar Tree Easter basket ideas for you!
Anytime I’m preparing for a holiday, my first stop is always Dollar Tree. They have a great selection of holiday and seasonal craft, decor, and goodies.
Just make sure you go early to get the best selection before things get picked over! You can also go to a few different Dollar Tree stores if you have multiple in your area as they may have a different selection.
I checked out our local Dollar Tree to see what all they had and found some cute things for Easter baskets!
You can make a great little Easter basket for your kids without spending a lot of money – thank you, Dollar Tree!
21 Cute & Frugal Dollar Tree Easter Basket Ideas
1. Easter Baskets
For the actual Easter basket, my Dollar Tree had a ton of great options!
See some of my favorites below!
I love these bunny baskets! If you have a Cricut machine, you could make some iron on names to personalize them!
These were some classic basket options in several colors.
They also had some fun sports options!
2. Paddle Ball Game
This would be a fun game to add to an Easter basket!
3. Easter pencils
Grab some of the Easter pencils and split them up into a few different baskets.
4. Stuffed Animal
A new stuffed animal is a great basket stuffer – and Dollar Tree has some great cheap ones!
5. Easter Bunny glasses
These would be a fun accessory in an Easter basket – and would make for cute pictures!
6. Easter Bunny headbands
The little bunny headbands are super cute, too!
7. Coloring Books and Crayons
Check the Easter aisle for Easter coloring books or the school supply and toy aisle for different character or animal themed coloring books.
Add some new crayons or coloring pencils for a great craft set!
8. Easter notepads
These are cute and fun to add to an Easter basket!
If you don’t see these in the Easter area, check the school supply aisle for some different options.
9. Fun Easter Cups
These are cute for an Easter basket!
10. Puzzles
Check the toy aisle for some puzzles that you can add to an Easter basket.
11. Balls
Dollar Tree usually has a great selection of small sports balls that would make a fun additon to an Easter basket.
12. Stickers
Check the holiday area and the art area for stickers your kids might like.
13. Painting Set
I found this cute Easter bunny painting set in the Easter area.
You can also check the toy and craft aisle for art kits.
14. Modeling Clay
Dollar Tree carries off brand Play-Doh that you can split up into multiple Easter baskets.
15. Art Supplies
Check the arts and crafts area for new paints, paintbrushes, or other art supplies your kids might like.
16. Toys
The toy aisle has some great small toys that would be fun for Easter baskets. I always check out the Hot Wheels or Matchbox cars, animal or bug figurines, jump ropes, and whatever else they have on the toy aisle.
They also have had fun water squirters and sand buckets.
17. Candy
They had a lot of candy options in the Easter area. You can also check the snack aisle for other favorites.
18. Hair Accessories
Check out the aisle with the hair accessories for hair ties, clips, and headbands.
19. School Supplies
Look over the school supply section for new pens, pencils, markers, notebooks, flashcards, workbooks, and more.
20. Gardening Supplies
If your kids like to work in the garden look for some garden tools, flower seeds, and gloves. You could even make a flower pot the Easter basket!
21. Easter Eggs
And of course, if you need Easter eggs (and goodies to fill them with), be sure to check your Dollar Tree.
Our store had already sold a lot, but still had several fun options to choose from.
If you don’t shop at Dollar Tree for holiday and seasonal goodies, crafts, and decor – you have to check it out!
You can save a lot of money making an Easter basket by grabbing things from Dollar Tree.
Don’t feel like you have to add tons of things either, just pick a few things each kid will enjoy!
