Valentine’s Day is coming up! Have you got any decorations out?
I don’t always decorate for mini holidays like Valentine’s Day, but I’m feeling creative this year.
Also, since I work from home now, I obviously spend more time at home and want to look at pretty things. So, here I am crafting! 🙂
This DIY Valentine’s Day mason jar centerpiece project was so fun and super easy! And cheap!
I’ll show you how I made it, so you can make your own Valentine’s Day decor!
DIY Valentine’s Day Mason Jar Centerpiece
Materials Needed:
3 Mason Jars – Save the lids for another project!
Assorted Paints – I used red, bright pink, and pale pink. Use whatever you have on hand!
Paint Brushes – The small cheap ones work just fine!
Baker’s Twine – Check Dollar Tree’s craft section for baker’s twine in assorted colors!
Paper Hearts – Cut from cardstock with your Cricut machine, cut by hand, or use a heart shaped paper punch. I had some leftover from this Valentine’s Day decor project.
*You could also use other cute tags or write sweet notes on Kraft paper*
Sand Paper – Optional. I like the look of the distressed mason jars, but you can skip this if you want.
Hole Punch – to add the heart tags.
Scissors – cut the twine and/or hearts out.
Wood tray or piece of wood – Optional. If you want your mason jars to sit on something – I had this wooden tray already.
