Want to make your own DIY leather earrings? In this post, I’m sharing a fun and easy project to make DIY faux leather earrings with a Cricut!
I’ve been wanting to make these earrings with my Cricut for a while, and I’m so happy with how they turned out!
This was the easiest project and I only needed a few supplies.
DIY Cricut Faux Leather Earrings
Want to make your own DIY Cricut earrings for yourself or for gifts? Check out this super quick, easy, and frugal project.
I shared this on Instagram when I finished my DIY Cricut earrings:
Supplies Needed:
Cricut machine – I used my Cricut Joy
Cutting mat – A strong grip cutting mat would work best.
Faux leather – I used Pebbled Brown, but there are a lot of pretty colors!
Earring hooks – I used these copper ear wires.
Directions:
1. Open Cricut Design Space and start a new project.
2. Search the projects tab for earrings design.
I used two projects to make these 4 designs.
I choose the Faux Leather Earrings project and the Leather Embossed Earrings project (without doing the actual embossing).
If you have Cricut Access you will have access to all of these designs for free.
3. Select customize to resize your earrings.
I made two sizes of the Leather Embossed Earrings. Depending on the size earring you like, you can resize these to fit you perfectly.
Resize your earrings by clicking select all and dragging the corner diagonally.
4. Click Make It and make your material and mat selections.
5. Load your faux leather on the cutting mat shiny side down.
6. Click Go and let your machine cut your earrings.
7. Remove the designs from the mat and remove the excess material.
8. Use needle nose pliers to attach the earring hooks.
These are so fun to make and so easy, too! You can make different designs, different sizes, and different colors to match all your outfits.
Make a set of these for a fun DIY gift for your friends, sisters, Mom, teachers, or anyone who loves jewelry!
Have fun with this project!
