Looking for a new freezer cooking plan? In this post, I’m sharing easy Crockpot freezer meals you can make ahead and stash in the freezer for busy nights. Make these quick make ahead freezer slow cooker meals to have ready to go for quick dinners.
Freezer cooking is a great way to get ahead on dinnertime, so you can save time and money. When you have a busy week ahead, freezer meals are the perfect way to feed your family a great meal with little time.
I have been making freezer meals for over 5 years, and love stocking my freezer with ready to go meals that can be heated up quickly.
These Crockpot freezer meals were easy and quick to make, and I’m so glad to have them stocked away in our freezer.
Make Ahead Freezer Slow Cooker Meals
You can make freezer meals just a few at a time, focus on one kind of meat or style of cooking, or spend a whole afternoon making meals for the freezer.
For this Crockpot freezer cooking plan, I wanted to make really simple meals that could be quickly thrown into a slow cooker to cook while you work or do other things. Then, dinner is ready when you need it! These meals are quick, easy, and kid friendly!
I’m so excited to have my freezer full of these slow cooker meals that are ready to go when I don’t have time to cook dinner. And they will help keep us on budget, since dinner is done and we won’t be tempted to stop for fast food or takeout.
Note: I made these slow cooker freezer meals for the 2 of us. You can adjust the portions to fit your family size, or double (or triple) the freezer plan for your family.
Crockpot or slow cooker meals are so easy, and make dinner come together quickly with little effort. Making these meals ahead of time for the freezer makes it even easier.
In this freezer cooking plan, you’ll be able to make several crockpot freezer meals that are ready to throw into the slow cooker for an easy and delicious dinner. Grab the ingredient list and recipes for the make ahead freezer meals plan below!
Crockpot Freezer Meals:
Beef Stew
Pork Tenderloin
Chicken Tortilla Soup
Chicken Fajita Mix
Chicken Wings
Shopping List:
2 lbs beef stew meat
8 lbs chicken wings
4 lbs Pork tenderloin (Our store sells these in a 2 pack)
4 chicken breasts
1 bag of baby carrots
1 Onion
2 packets of stew seasoning
1 cup Worchestire sauce
1 cup soy sauce
1 carton chicken broth (32 oz)
2 cans diced tomatoes
2 cans black beans (drained)
2 cans whole kernel corn
1/4 cup lime juice
2 bottles wing sauce
3 bell peppers (orange, red, yellow)
1 tsp Chili powder
1 tsp Cumin
1/2 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Dried Oregano
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Directions:
1. Boil 2 chicken breasts and shred in mixer or with forks.
2. Add chicken broth, diced tomatoes, black beans (drained), corn, lime juice, 2 tsp chili powder, 1 tbsp cumin, and 1 tsp paprika to large pot with lid. Add shredded chicken when ready. Let simmer while you complete other steps.
3. Slice bell peppers and onions into thin strips.
4. Divide beef stew meat into 2 freezer bags.
5. Divide baby carrots and about 1/2 onion between 2 bags.
6. Sprinkle 1 stew seasoning packet in each bag and seal.
7. Divide chicken wings into 2 freezer bags and add one bottle of wing sauce to each bag. Seal and label.
8. Add 1 cup of worchestire sauce and 1 cup of soy sauce to bowl and mix.
9. Divide pork tenderloin into 2 bags. Divide worchestire/soy sauce mixture between bags. Seal and label.
10. Divide remaining chicken between 2 bags. Divide bell pepper and onion strips between bags.
11. Mix 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp paprika, 1 tsp dried oregano, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tsp onion powder in bowl. Divide between two bags. label as fajita mix, and seal.
12. Place everything in freezer.
That’s it! Make sure everything is sealed, labeled, and place in the freezer.

To finish the meals:
Beef Stew – Thaw overnight in fridge. Place in crockpot with 4 cups water. Cook on low for 8 hours.
Pork Tenderloin – Thaw overnight in fridge. Place in crockpot with 1 cup water. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Serve with veggies or side salad.
Chicken Tortilla Soup – Thaw overnight in fridge. Place in crockpot on low to warm (until you get home). Garnish with cilantro, shredded cheese, and crushed tortilla chips.
Chicken Fajita Mix – Thaw overnight in fridge. Place in crockpot with 1-2 cups water (cover bottom of crock pot). Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Shred chicken with forks. Serve on tortillas.
Chicken Wings – Thaw overnight in fridge. Place in crockpot with 1/2 cup water. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Serve with veggies and ranch dressing.
