We finally finished up our baby girl’s wildflower nursery room and I can’t wait to show you! I am in love with this room!
When we found out we were having a baby girl, I couldn’t wait to get started decorating her nursery room! I found some inspiration from Pinterest and decided on a wildflower nursery theme. This is by far my favorite room in our house!
I’ll show you all around her room, so you can enjoy it, too!
Baby Girl Wildflower Nursery: Emmie Jane’s Nursery Tour
A Fun Accent Wall: Wall Paper & Board and Batten
We started with the biggest wall behind her crib. I knew I wanted this to be a fun accent wall with color, pattern, and some texture.
We decided to do a half wall paper wall, with a board and batten bottom. It’s my favorite thing in the whole room!
This is the exact wall paper we used.
The wall paint color is White Metal from Behr.
The circle name sign was a fun and super frugal DIY project.
I have a full tutorial here to show you how to make your own!
I really love how the wood circle pops from the wall paper! It’s the perfect little touch above her crib.
Rocking & Feeding Area:
In this corner of her room, I wanted to have a rocking and feeding area. We found this gently used rocking chair on Facebook Marketplace for just $60.
The ottoman is from Home Goods, and the rug is from Amazon.
We used this large rope coiled basket beside the rocking chair to hold blankets.
I wanted to have a side table that also offered some storage, so we chose this 2 cube storage organizer with these aqua fabric storage bins.
These signs and shelves are from Hobby Lobby, and I love how they coordinate with the colors and wildflower theme!
Book & Toy Area:
I wanted to have a corner dedicated to toys, stuffed animals, and books. This little corner works perfect and the cube organizers are so handy to store items in baskets!
We got this 4 cube storage organizer to match the other one, and used the same fabric bins to hold small toys.
I love this coiled rope basket to hold stuffed animals. It’s a soft basket that will hold it’s shape – perfect for baby to use!
Reading & Play Area:
We brought the bench in from the laundry room, and I think it will be a perfect spot for Emmie Jane to read and play.
For extra storage and a pop of color, we added these pink and white striped baskets.
I made the little pillow with a pocket on the front to slide a book in each night for bedtime.
Diaper & Changing Area:
Opposite of her crib, we set up a changing dresser with everything to change and dress our little girl.
The grey tiered basket to the right of the dresser is from Home Goods and holds diapers and extra wipes. I thought these would be handy to have right here.
I left one basket empty and plan to set out her outfits for the next day, so we can easily grab her clothes and dress her without searching for the right size.
On top of the dresser, we have her changing pad that is secured to the back of the dresser and a basket for things we might need while changing her.
This pink and white polka dot hamper will be handy for tossing dirty clothes in.
The picture frames and white art above the dresser are from Hobby Lobby. We will add some of her newborn pictures when she gets here!
The pewter mirror is from a local bargain store.
The Closet:
I made a headband organizer with little clothespins to hold her many headbands and used command strips to attach it to the back of her closet door.
And her clothes are organized by size with these DIY clothing size dividers.
I added yet another cube organizer in her closet to keep small items organized.
We used this 6 cube storage organizer in the closet with these fabric bins.
These cubes are perfect for shoes, socks, bigger clothes, and things she doesn’t need just yet.
And that’s all for the wildflower nursery! I am in love with how this room turned out!
It’s perfect for our baby girl and I can’t wait to bring her home and watch her grow up in this sweet room!
