Do you love making holiday crafts and decorating your home DIY style? I try to decorate a little for each holiday (except Christmas – I decorate a lot!) and DIY decor is my favorite!
This DIY Easter craft is super easy and only takes a few materials and a little time. I’ll show you how I made a wood & burlap bunny sign, and how you can make one, too! 🙂
DIY Easter Craft: Wood & Burlap Bunny Sign
Materials Needed:
Wood sign with hanger (can find at any craft store)
Paint and paintbrush
Burlap (or other Spring fabric)
Bunny cutout (I made mine with my Cricut)
Adhesive spray or hot glue gun
Directions:
-
Paint your wood sign.
I just lightly painted my wood sign with teal acrylic paint.
-
Cut your burlap or fabric.
Measure and cut a piece of burlap or fabric to place on your sign. Spray the back with adhesive or use hot glue to glue it in place.
-
Create your bunny cutout.
Use your Cricut machine to make a bunny cutout or freehand. I just found a bunny image, saved it to my computer, and uploaded it to Cricut Design Space.
-
Paint your bunny image.
Place your cutout image on your burlap or fabric, and paint inside your stencil.
-
Add a little tail or bow.
I just cut some scrap fabric and hot glued a little yellow bow on my bunny. If you have some poms, buttons, or other craft supplies, make a little tail or bow for your bunny. Â
Pretty easy and super cute, right?
This project took me about 30 minutes and I was able to use materials I already had on hand – love that!
You can make your wood & burlap bunny sign however you’d like. Use colorful scrap fabrics, scrapbook paper, or bright, fun colors!
