This dessert combines three of my favorite foods: chocolate, ice cream, and M&M’s. And… one of my favorite activities, eating. ๐
I love how quick this dessert comes together, and how easy it is to change up based on your favorites.
This ice cream brownie dessert would be so sweet for a birthday or celebration!
Ice Cream Brownie Dessert
Ingredients:
1 box of brownie mix – I used Betty Crocker Fudge Brownie mix.
1/2 gallon of ice cream – you only really need about a pint, but I figured you would want some later, too! ๐ I used Mayfield Homemade Vanilla.
1 container of whipped topping
Your favorite toppings – I used chocolate syrup and mini M&M’s.
Directions:
-
Mix and bake your brownies. Let cool.
Since it’s just theย two of us, I split my brownie mix into two smaller pans, so we could have a smaller ice cream brownie dessert and brownies for lunches!
-
Add a layer of ice cream on top of the brownie.
Once your brownies are cool, add a layer of ice cream. The best way I could figure to get this even was to scoop the ice cream, then uncurl the scoops to flatten the ice cream a little.
-
Add whipped topping.
Next, add a layer of whipped topping on top of the ice cream.
-
Add toppings.
Grab your favorite toppings, like syrup, hot fudge sauce, candy, and add on top of the whipped topping.
That’s it! Super easy and delicious!
It didn’t take us long to dive in, either! Two thumbs up and two smiling faces! ๐
You could change this up however you like, too.
These are some ideas I have in mind for my next ice cream brownie dessert:
- Ultimate Chocolate: Brownie + chocolate ice cream + chocolate whipped topping + mini chocolate chips
- Peanut Butter Cup: Brownie + moose tracks ice cream + whipped topping + chopped up Reese’s
- Mint Chocolate: Brownie + mint chocolate chip ice cream + whipped topping + chopped up Ande’s mints
Layer up your favorite flavors to make your own unique brownie ice cream dessert!
What combination will you make?
