Do you want to make a gallery wall but need to stay on a budget? In today’s post, I’m sharing how I used Walmart frames to create a DIY cheap gallery wall that looks great!
I have been wanting to create a gallery wall with black frames for a while now. All the frames I was finding were really expensive, though.
I finally found some affordable frames and made this cheap gallery wall, and I love the way it turned out!
DIY Cheap Gallery Wall with Walmart Frames
This was such an easy DIY project and very affordable!
We have been working on our bedroom makeover, and I thought a gallery wall with black frames would look perfect on the wall.
This was such an easy and inexpensive makeover for this wall in our bedroom, and I’m so glad I found these affordable frames to make it happen.

Frames: 6 – 11″ x 14″ black frames matted to 8″ x 10″
Photos: 6 – 8″ x 10″ vertical photos
That’s it!
I love that these affordable frames come with a white mat. This instantly makes these frames look a little more high end.
But fair warning, while these frames are very affordable and give you a great gallery wall look, they are not the best quality ever. These frames are perfect for getting the gallery wall look for less, though.
Decorating with these frames:
I decided to go with black and white photos, since we are decorating our bedroom using more neutral tones.
You could use these frames in a hallway, living room, kitchen, playroom, or in your bedroom.
Play around with the size of the wall you want to create the gallery wall on, and decide on the number of frames you need. You could group them in 6 like I did, or a group of 9, or 2 rows of 4 frames down a hallway.
These were really easy to hang, and you could even use command strips to make it even easier!
I love the way this cheap gallery wall turned out and made our bedroom feel more put together and full of memories.
This was such an easy and affordable project and it really made a big difference in our bedroom.
If you want to create a gallery wall on a budget, I definitely suggest these Walmart frames!
