I used Kroger products and prices for this meal plan, so if you have a Kroger near you, you can follow this plan exactly! If you don’t have a Kroger, use it as inspiration and see what similar items your store carries.
I love to cook super simple meals for my family, with just a few ingredients, and the easier the better! So, these 7 meals fit that criteria as well!
These 7 different meals all:
- feed a family of 4 (may differ with portion sizes you prefer)
- cost less than $15 total (current Kroger prices as of writing)
- have only 2 or 3 items to buy/cook for each meal
- and take advantage of quick, ready to go products at the grocery store (frozen items, meal kits, ready to cook foods, etc.)

Here’s what you need to buy:

Kroger Breadsticks (frozen) $2.29
Caesar Salad Kit $3.99
Total = $14.27
Cook the lasagna and breadsticks according to directions on package. Mix salad. Serve.
Meal 2: Pork Roast with Vegetables, Hawaiian Rolls
Here’s what you need to buy:

Kings Hawaiian Rolls (4 ct) $1.99
*You could substitute Jiffy Corn Muffin mix for a cheaper option that may stretch further.
