Are you ready to get your home organized for once? Tired of looking at clutter and chaos and dirt?
I feel you, friend! I couldn’t seem to get our house decluttered and organized.
Deciding to do one small project a day has been the system I needed to get organized. By doing one small task at a time, instead of spending a whole weekend organizing, our house is more organized and calm.
Breaking up a big project like organizing your whole house makes it a manageable project.
This 15 Day Organizing Challenge will help you organize your whole house, one small project at a time. At the end of 15 days, you will have a much more organized home.

Organize your home in 15 days with this challenge and feel so much better about the shape of your home!
Complete one task each day, and at the end of 15 days you will have a much more organized home.
Breaking this huge project down into daily tasks makes it much more manageable and quite a bit less daunting! We can do this!
A few tips before we get started:
1. Decide to start right away or pick a date in your planner and write it down.
2. Schedule time each day to complete the task.
3. Set a timer to work quickly.

Day 1: The pantry.
Throw away expired food, donate food you won’t eat, and organize by like items (breakfast, snacks, baking, cans, etc.)
You can quickly go overboard here, so try to keep it simple and work quickly! Unless you really want to completely overhaul your pantry, then go for it!
Tip: Use Dollar Tree organization bins and a label maker or marker to organize items like individual snacks, mixes, and smaller items.
Day 2: The fridge.
Throw away old food, toss expired condiments, wipe down shelves, drawers, and doors.
Tip: Use a Dollar Tree organization bin to make a handy snack bin.
Day 3: The freezer.
Throw away old food, organize foods by type (bread, veggies, meat, etc.). Defrost if needed.
Tip: Use reusable grocery bags to organize frozen meat and vegetables in a chest freezer.
Day 4: The utensil drawer.
Get rid of broken utensils, donate duplicates or utensils you never use. Wipe down the drawer and place utensils back neatly.
Tip: Use Dollar Tree bins for small items.
Day 5: Your purse.
Take everything out of your purse, throw away trash, put things away that don’t belong in your purse, wipe out, and put things back neatly.
Tip: Use small zip pouches for small items.
Day 6: Donation items.
Create a bin to store items to be donated until you can take them. Set this up in the garage or a closet.
Tip: Get your family on board to place items they no longer want in the donation bin.
Day 7: The laundry room.
Put items back that don’t belong here, organize laundry items, add a small trash can for lint, and wipe down your washer and dryer.
Tip: Add decorative bins to store small items.
Day 8: The junk drawer.
Put things back that don’t belong in here. Organize this drawer with small bins or dividers. Place like items together and label if necessary.
Tip: Use small Dollar Tree bins or plastic bags for batteries, pens, etc.
Day 9: The living room.
Find a place for toys, books, blankets, and other items that collect here. Blankets can go on a blanket ladder, and toys in decorative baskets.
Tip: Find a coffee table with lots of storage.

Day 10: The entry way.
Put stuff back where it belongs. Use hooks and bins to organize coats, hats, and bags.
Tip: Give everyone a hook and bin (label if necessary) to place all their items when they come in.
Day 11: Cleaning supplies.
Throw away old cleaning supplies you won’t use, and organize the rest by type.
Tip: Use a cleaning caddy to keep all your most used items all in one place.

Day 12: Bathroom cabinets.
Throw out things you won’t use, and organize everything left with bins or small baskets.
Tip: Plastic sliding drawer bins work great for extras like toothpaste, deodorant, and hair accessories.

Day 13: Nightstands.
Clean off the top of your nightstands and the drawers. For a clean look, only keep a photo, book, lamp, and a clock.
Tip: Keep minimal items here for a clean look.
Day 14: Dresser drawers.
Donate clothes you never wear. Fold neatly and stack clothes organized by type – shirts, shorts, pajamas, etc.
Also, clean off the top of your dresser and keep decor to a minimum for easy cleaning.
Tip: Create a summer stack and winter stack.
Day 15: The closet.
Set a timer for 30 mins and clean out your closet. Make a donate pile, a try on pile, and keep pile.
Tip: Organize clothes by season, color, and type. Keep accessories in a bin or hang behind the door.
