Ready for a super cute and easy DIY project? This DIY pillow cover comes together in just a few steps and is so cute! I love the phrase, “Let’s Stay Home”, because Home is my all time favorite place! But, you can make any image you would like.Let’s Stay Home – DIY Pillow Cover Tutorial
Supplies Needed:
Pillow Cover (I grabbed mine at Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon = $3 – here is a similar one) Black Iron On material Pillow form Heat press machine or iron and ironing board Cricut machine and mat Let’s Stay Home ImageDirections:
- Download this image or create your own in Canva.
- Upload the image to Cricut Design Space. Click Simple and Continue.
- Remove the excess white space with the tool.
- Save as a Cut image.
- Insert the image and size it for your pillow cover. Mine is 9″x10″.
- Select Cut.
- Important: Make sure you set the Mirror Image on (it should look backwards).
- Choose your material setting on your Cricut machine (Iron On).
- Place your iron on material glossy side down on your Cricut mat and press go.
- Remove the excess material from your image.
- Place your image on your pillow cover.
- If you are using a heat press machine, preheat your machine to 400 degrees. Place your pillow cover on the heat press with a Teflon sheet on top. Press for 30-40 seconds. Let cool and peel clear transfer paper off.
- If you are using an iron, heat your iron to the hottest setting. Place your image on your pillow cover with a Teflon sheet or thin material. Press your iron for 1-2 minutes. Let cool and peel clear transfer paper off.
- Decorate with your cute new pillow!
