Want to save yourself a lot of time in the kitchen? Try these make ahead freezer meals! This chicken freezer cooking plan will help you make 18 meals in just 30 minutes.
Would you believe me if I told you I just prepared 9 dinners for me and my husband in 30 minutes? I kinda shocked myself, too.
This was the quickest and easiest freezer cooking plan I have ever done.
The catch? I didn’t really cook anything.
This plan is all about quick and easy. Each meal is “dumped” in a freezer bag and ready to either, be thrown in the crockpot, or in the skillet. No prep work needed!!
Chicken Freezer Cooking Plan: 18 Meals in 30 Minutes
I made 9 bags of 2 person portioned meals, giving us 18 ready to go dinners. We’re going to enjoy chicken teriyaki, Italian chicken, ranch style chicken (Pioneer Woman recipe), salsa chicken, and chicken tacos.
Nothing fancy, nothing expensive, nothing my picky husband wouldn’t eat.
And dinner is going to be ready in minutes thanks to these ready to go meals.
If you’re looking to save time cooking dinner every night and wanting to get dinner on the table in record timing with little effort, then freezer cooking is perfect for you!
If you have never used a freezer cooking plan before, this is a great one to start with because it really is so super easy and quick to put together. And if you have many freezer cooking plans under your belt, this is a great plan to add more stock and variety to your freezer.
The idea is that you already have the ingredients out to make one meal, so why not go ahead and make several more and save yourself hours of time in the kitchen on busy weeknights?

Chicken Freezer Cooking Plan: 18 Meals in 30 Minutes
This freezer cooking session was intended for the two of us. You can add on additional meals, make different sized servings, take away meals.. whatever works for you and your family!
And this can definitely work for just 1 person too! Just change up how many servings per container and you’ll be set to eat yummy and quick meals!

Here’s what we’re going to be making:
Chicken Teriyaki – 4 Servings– Split into 2 freezer bags with 2 person portions
Italian Chicken – 4 Servings – Split into 2 freezer bags with 2 person portions
Ranch Style Chicken (Pioneer Woman recipe) – 4 Servings – Split into 2 freezer bags with 2 person portions
Salsa Chicken (Crock Pot Recipe) – 4 Servings – Split into 2 freezer bags with 2 person portions
Chicken Tacos (Crock Pot Recipe) – 2 Servings – 1 freezer bag with 2 person portions
That’s 18 meals for your busy family! 18 servings that will take little effort to get on the table to hungry mouths!

Shopping List Sorted by Recipe:
Total Chicken needed for all meals: 18 chicken breasts
Chicken Teriyaki: (4 servings)
Dash of Salt and Pepper
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp. sesame seeds
1 green onion
Italian Chicken: (4 servings)
1 1/2 cups Zesty Italian Dressing
Ranch Style Chicken: (4 servings)
1/2 cup Dijon mustard
1/2 cup honey
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
Salsa Chicken: (4 servings)
2 jars of salsa (whatever kind you like!)
Chicken Tacos: (2 servings)
1 taco seasoning packet
2/3 cup water
Misc:
Cutting board
Knife

Freezer cooking plan:

Chicken Teriyaki:
Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame seeds, and salt and pepper together in bowl. Dice 4 chicken breasts. Split chicken, soy sauce mix, and green onion between 2 freezer bags and label.
When ready to serve:
Cook chicken mix in skillet with oil. Serve with rice and steamed veggies/broccoli.
Italian Chicken:
Slice 4 chicken breasts into strips, split and place in 2 freezer bags. Add 3/4 cup of Italian dressing to each bag and label.
When ready to serve:
Grill chicken strips in skillet until glazed brown. Serve with salad or fresh veggies.
Ranch Style Chicken:
Mix all ingredients in bowl with whisk. If you have thick chicken breasts, slice lengthwise to make thinner chicken breasts. Split chicken and honey mustard mix into 2 freezer bags and label.
When ready to serve:
Preheat oven to 400. Fry 1 piece of bacon per serving in skillet, set aside, and drain almost all grease. Grill chicken in skillet until glazed brown. Remove and place on baking sheet, top with monterey jack cheese, bacon slice, and more cheese. Bake in oven for 5-10 minutes (until cheese melts). Serve with roasted potatoes, salad, or fresh veggies.
Salsa Chicken – Crock Pot Recipe:
Place 2 chicken breasts and a jar of salsa into freezer bag and label. Repeat for 2nd bag.
When ready to serve:
Dump chicken and salsa into medium size crock pot and cook on low for 4-6 hours. Shred and stir. Serve with tortillas or chips and salsa/queso/guac.
Chicken Tacos – Crock Pot Recipe:
Mix taco seasoning packet and water together. Place 2 chicken breasts and seasoning in freezer bag and label.
When ready to serve:
Dump chicken and seasoning into crock pot and cook on low for 6 hours. Shred and stir. Serve with warm tortillas, shredded cheese, lettuce, and pico de gallo!
I love to store my freezer bag meals in a reusable grocery bag. All my easy and quick meals are in that bag, so I can just grab and go!
